Job Description

The Kilimanjaro International Leather Industries Company Limited (KLICL) previously known as Karanga Leather Industries Company Limited is established as a Joint Venture company between PSSSF and Tanzania Prisons Service through its Company known as Prisons Corporation Sole. The Company was established on 17th May 2017 to undertake development and operate leather industries in Karanga area, Moshi Municipality.

Qualification and Experience

The applicant should be a holder of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field, from a recognized Higher Learning Institution. Must be a holder of CPA (T), ACCA, ACA, CIA or equivalent professional qualification recognized by NBAA, with at least 3 years’ similar work experience (preferably from a manufacturing industry). Knowledge of IFRS and IPSAS is an added advantage.

Key Duties and Responsibilities.

1. Takes appropriate action for collecting revenue due to the Company,
2. Supervises company account operations and determines revenue expenditures,
3. Works with accounts team to prepare financial planning and reporting activities,
4. Determines monthly revenue focus and performs monthly revenue analysis and calculations,
5. Generates monthly revenue reports for Management review,
6. Oversees financial transaction and process invoices in a timely manner,
7. Prepares accounting records and financial reports as per Company standards,
8. Provides financial expertise based on the Company’s financial commitment and focus,
9.  Works on accounts reconciliation over account receivables and payables on regular basis and presents to Management,
10. Supervises financial audits and ensures implementation of audit recommendations,
11. Ensures compliance with Company accounting standards and guidelines,
12. Monitor and manage client’s accounts,
13. Inspects balance sheets and correct errors as per procedure,
15. Performs any other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

All positions carry attractive package commensurate with one’s qualifications and experience.

• Uncertified certificates and provisional statement of results will not be accepted.
