Position Summary
Ifakara Health Institute is looking for qualified candidates
to serve as Interns in the following research areas: Urban Planning, Urban
Governance, GIS Analyst, Health, Education, Statistics, Epidemiology, and
Social Sciences. This position is intended to support junior researchers and
academicians take their carrier to the next level and prepare them for hands-on
employment opportunities in future.
While the Interns will be linked with researchers within the
department of Health Systems, Impact Evaluation and Policy, the Sustainable
Health and Learning Cities’ Project will host them and build their capacity in
contributing to the attainment of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s): Ensure
healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages (SDG 3); Ensure
inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning
opportunities for all (SDG 4); and Make cities and human settlements inclusive,
safe, resilient and sustainable (SDG 11).
