Position Purpose:
Reporting to the Country Director
(CD), Pact Tanzania and the Project Director (PD), ACHIEVE Tanzania project,
the Executive Assistant to the Country Director and Project Director will serve
as the primary point of contact for internal and external communication on all
matters pertaining to the Office of the Pact Tanzania Country Director and the
Project Director of ACHIEVE Tanzania project. The Executive Assistant will also
serve as a liaison to the Pact Tanzania Country Management Team (CMT) and the
ACHIEVE Tanzania project Senior Management Team (SMT) and he/she, will be responsible
for organizing and coordinating executive meetings, executive calendars,
executive travel plans, executive administrative duties, and external relations
efforts for the Pact Tanzania executive office and that of the ACHIEVE Tanzania
project. He/she must have impeccable written and oral communication skills,
possess an extensive network with the government and NGO administration sector,
be creative, intuitive and have the ability to exercise sound judgment in a
variety of situations.
As the Pact Tanzania Country Office establishes its board, the Executive Assistant serves as a liaison to the Pact Tanzania board of directors and the Pact Tanzania Country Management Team (CMT). He/she will assist the Pact Tanzania Country Director in scheduling Pact Tanzania board meetings, assembling and distributing Agendas and Board Packets, and notifying the public and Pact Tanzania employees of the Board's actions.
Requirements
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in
Law from an accredited institution or a Bachelor’s degree in Business
Administration, Human Resource Management, or relevant field of study.
Post-graduate training will be an added advantage.
