Job Description

Abt Associates, a global leader in research and implementing technical programs in the fields of economic growth, international health, social and environmental policy, and climate change, seeks highly qualified candidates for an anticipated USAID-funded agriculture project in Tanzania.

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

·         A university degree in agriculture, business administration, economics, communications, health and behavioral or social sciences or a related field is required.

·         A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in one or more of the relevant technical areas listed below. USAID experience is highly preferred.

Director, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning is responsible for designing and managing monitoring, evaluation, learning and knowledge management systems. He or she will undertake iterative learning and adaptation, including the use of real-time information and analysis to continuously assess progress and adjust interventions or approaches as necessary, including engagement with value chain actors and with development partners to learn about what is working across the system.
